These are 7 examples of how miracle is Al Quran from language perspective.

1st EXAMPLE (Super Plural)

1.1 Super Covered cob of corn is called Sunbulah (singular).

Plural: sunbulaat

Super plural: sanabil

Al Baqarah: 261

مَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ أَنبَتَتْ سَبْعَ سَنَابِلَ فِي كُلِّ سُنبُلَةٍ مِّائَةُ حَبَّةٍ وَاللهُ يُضَاعِفُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَاللهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ

Inside every ear, 100 seeds.

1x7x100

Calculation is beyond human imagination.

Yusuf: 43

وَقَالَ الْمَلِكُ إِنِّي أَرَىٰ سَبْعَ بَقَرَاتٍ سِمَانٍ يَأْكُلُهُنَّ سَبْعٌ عِجَافٌ وَسَبْعَ سُنبُلَاتٍ خُضْرٍ وَأُخَرَ يَابِسَاتٍ يَا أَيُّهَا الْمَلَأُ أَفْتُونِي فِي رُؤْيَايَ إِن كُنتُمْ لِلرُّؤْيَا تَعْبُرُونَ

King's dream

7 good years with limited resources. Cannot waste the grain. In weaker context, the king has limited power.

1.2 Singular: Ni'mah (blessings)

Plural: an'um

Super plural: ni'am

An Nahl: 121

شَاكِرًا لِّأَنْعُمِهِ اجْتَبَاهُ وَهَدَاهُ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ

Even if you are Prophet Ibrahim, u are not able to accomplish thanking Allah for all His blessings

Luqman: 20

أَلَمْ تَرَوْا أَنَّ اللهَ سَخَّرَ لَكُم مَّا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَأَسْبَغَ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعَمَهُ ظَاهِرَةً وَبَاطِنَةً وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يُجَادِلُ فِي اللهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَلَا هُدًى وَلَا كِتَابٍ مُّنِيرٍ

2nd EXAMPLE (Lineage)

As-Saff: 5-6

Nabi Musa and Isa

وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِ يَا قَوْمِ لِمَ تُؤْذُونَنِي وَقَد تَّعْلَمُونَ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللهِ إِلَيْكُمْ فَلَمَّا زَاغُوا أَزَاغَ اللهُ قُلُوبَهُمْ وَاللهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِقِينَ

O my people (because Nabi Musa's father and mother are from Bani Israel)

وَإِذْ قَالَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ إِنِّي رَسُولُ اللهِ إِلَيْكُم مُّصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَمُبَشِّرًا بِرَسُولٍ يَأْتِي مِن بَعْدِي اسْمُهُ أَحْمَدُ فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ قَالُوا هَٰذَا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ

O people of Israel

To be from that nation, your father is born frm that nation

In traditional judaisme, your nation comes from your mother.

Isa never said 'ya Qaumi' (o my people) but he said 'ya Bani israel'

Technically he cannot said it because he has no father.

Isa ibnu Maryam (part of our belief that he has no father)

3rd EXAMPLE

Al Jumu'ah: 1

يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوسِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ

Al Malik: the king

Al Quddus: the perfectly pure, the source of purity

Al Aziz: the authority

Al Hakeem: the wise

4 names of Allah

King known by his stature, symbol, crown

Al Jumu'ah: 2

هُوَ الَّذِي بَعَثَ فِي الْأُمِّيِّينَ رَسُولًا مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُو عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِهِ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَإِن كَانُوا مِن قَبْلُ لَفِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ

Summary of entire prophet seerah

How prophet transform the whole society with 4 steps;

1) read on the king's signs (ayaatihi)

2) purifies

3) teach the book (law)--given by the authority

4) teach the hikmah (wisdom)--come from the wise

4th EXAMPLE (Distracting Entertainment)

Al Jumu'ah: 11

وَإِذَا رَأَوْا تِجَارَةً أَوْ لَهْوًا انفَضُّوا إِلَيْهَا وَتَرَكُوكَ قَائِمًا قُلْ مَا عِندَ اللهِ خَيْرٌ مِّنَ اللهْوِ وَمِنَ التِّجَارَةِ وَاللهُ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ

They saw tijarah and entertainment,

But Allah has better entertainment and tijarah.

Principal of muslims life.

Entertainment: more universal culprit that takes away from remembering Allah

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلَاةِ مِن يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ فَاسْعَوْا إِلَىٰ ذِكْرِ اللهِ وَذَرُوا الْبَيْعَ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

Al bai': Sales (accounting, payroll, etc.)

Business is hard

But Sales (pay comes in) is attractive. You are tested.

5th EXAMPLE (Ayatul Kursi)

Made of 9 sentences

اللهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ

Al hayy Al qayyum

In common with 9th sentence

لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ

Drowsiness when you are tired (sinah)

Sleep (naum)

Creation gets tired

In common with 8th sentence, Allah is not tired

لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ

مَن ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِم

Allah gives syafa'ah (u have connection and get help). We beg Allah to get the qualification from Prophet in the Hereafter with His authority.

يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ

He knows what behind and ...

وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ

They know nothing except whoever Allah gives permission. Otherwise they know nothing.

#4 and #6 related

وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ

Allah is king of the kingdom and own every single things

Allah is maalik and malik

Maalik: owner (controlling things)

Malik: king (controlling ppl)

وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا

Abt ownership (micro. Every single things belong to him)

وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ

6th EXAMPLE (Speaking vs Reading)

Spoken word vs Written word

Quraish so impressed with what they hear so they call prophet 'magician'. An insult but it means they have half faith.

7th EXAMPLE (Beauty in the Quran)

Al Insan (3x abt drinks)

Take their drink

إِنَّ الْأَبْرَارَ يَشْرَبُونَ مِن كَأْسٍ كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا كَافُورًا

Given to drink, being served

وَيُسْقَوْنَ فِيهَا كَأْسًا كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا زَنجَبِيلًا

Allah serve the drinks Himself

وَسَقَاهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ شَرَابًا طَهُورًا

Spread message of hope not depression

Bring sincerity back. Give reason for people to love Islam.
