Three types of the heart:

1. Sound and healthy heart, known as "qalbun salim". 
It is free from any decease; two types of deceases:
i. Shahwat: lust, desire.
ii. Shubuhat: doubt.
2. A ill heart; suffer from these two decease of the heart.
3. Dead heart: has suffered from many deceases of the heart until it lost its live.

Impact of sin on the heart:
1. Sins will effect your memory, especially when you memorize the Quran.
The knowledge of Allah is a light.
Sins is darkness, like a black seeds. (Remember the story of Imam Shafie complaining to his teacher, Waqi' about his memory).

2. Feeling of loneliness. You will not feel comfortable when you're sinning. You can feel the feeling of more distance from Allah's mercy.

3. You will feel a distance from the people of righteousness and it'll also effect your relationship with your family, spouse.
